BECOMING A SPONSOR 

Mustang Yearlings Washington Youth is a certified 501(c)3 nonprofit organization (EIN 27-3403543). As such, all donations are tax deductible. We consider ourselves to be both a mustang awareness and a trainer development organization. Our sponsorship opportunities are many. With the growing cost of expenditures, we would be honored to partner with you in any way possible. The following are a few of the sponsorships available on an ongoing annual basis.

Mustangs have proven themselves over the years to be versatile, resilient, reliable, and pocket ponies to say the least. Many have gone on to become champion dressage mounts, competitive trail winners, endurance horses and both western and English mounts in the open show pen. By offering a program that brings them into the public eye with local youth and adults as trainers it helps them find permanent homes in the discipline in which their new owners may choose. Our goal is to keep mustangs in the forefront as an acceptable option for all riders to consider as their numbers become increasingly high on their native lands with those lands no longer able to sustain the herds in a healthy capacity. Ultimately, we would strive to have enough annual sponsorship to offer a program with scholarships for those youth competitors who are continuing on to college. We also hope to be able to offer both facility and funding scholarships for those that are gifted in the equine world but may be in an at-risk or financial situation where it is just not affordable for their families. In both instances, with your help, we would like to be able to assist in the facilitation of those inner childhood dreams to become reality and to let them know there is hope in a world that can sometimes seem hopeless. 

We would thank you in advance from the bottom of our hearts in every way imaginable for contributing to this program. It is very difficult to put into words just how the lives of these horses and these competitors are forever changed by this experience.

SPONSORSHIPS ARE ONE YEAR IN LENGTH NO MATTER WHEN YOU SIGN UP!

If you would like to sponsor us in any of these financial capacities, we have several different levels for you to consider: 

PLATINUM SPONSORSHIP $10,000

Costs rise annually. We wish they didn’t but they do. Our venue costs are one of our largest expenditures. A donation of this magnitude would sustain our ability to afford those annual rising fees and continue to offer our final showcasing in safe facilities with choices for all competitors.

 DIAMOND SPONSORSHIP  $5,000

Diamonds are a jewel. A precious gem which is admired near and far the world around. A partnership on this level would assist in the ability to continue to grow our program in all aspects including remote horse pick up locations, training aides for the competitor, sponsoring clinics for competitors to further their education in addition to everything that goes along with the general growth of an organization. Our budget is minimal for these expenses which does not always allow us to ease the financial burden of the trainer. 

EMERALD SPONSORSHIP  $2,500

Emerald level of sponsorship will afford MYWY the opportunity to fill in the gaps when higher donations are not received. This level of sponsorship assists in the venue fees including stalls for the competitors. An Emerald donor provides great value in our organization.

SILVER SPONSORSHIP $1,000

Silver level of sponsorship covers the purchase of our specialty buckles; Sportsmanship, Inspiration and our Rookie Buckles to name a few. These are awards that we feel have been earned by special individuals over the course of our full program. Each buckle will have the sponsor info engraved on the back of the buckle.  

BRONZE SPONSORSHIP $500

Bronze level of sponsorship covers the partial cost of our class ribbons. Ribbons are a cherished element of the horse show world that is the pride for youth and adults alike. Most people keep their ribbons for years. Some have had custom display cases made while others turn them into prized quilts.

 MUSTANG MESSENGER $1 and up  

Any amount one would want to give will drop into our general fund and be allocated to the area of highest need. Every penny counts in a non-profit organization and we love our Mustang Messengers

TRAINER DEL DIA ~Any Amount

Sponsoring a specific competitor can be a bit tricky. The IRS frowns on any “team” type event or organization which financially singles out any one individual. We can assist in connecting you with an individual if this is a sponsorship level in which you are interested. Please contact us for further information.
